Reading –
Read for 20 minutes – talk to someone about your book if you can. If someone can ask you questions about your book, even better! Don’t forget you can read ‘First News’ too, or listen to some stories using these links:
I have given you this link before – it is for books online, in case you are running out!!
PE –
Choose a PE activity from the PE icon or tune in to ‘P.E. with Joe’!
English –
To identify and use adverbials
Adverbials are used to explain how, where or when something happened; they are like adverbs made up of more than one word.
Complete C1, C2 or C3. Just write it on paper, you don’t need to print the sheet.
Maths
To find fractions of amounts (word problems)
Remember to find a fraction of an amount, you divide the amount by the denominator (bottom number) and then multiply that answer by the numerator (top number)
Eg: 2/3 of 12 = 12÷3 = 4 4x2= 8
Today you have word problems to solve. Choose C1, C2 or C3
Remember to use: RUCSAC = Read, Understand, Choose, Solve, Answer and Check. Make sure you read the question at least twice.
Don’t forget to add the units at the end, for example, marbles or passengers.

Have a look at the statements below – which are ok and which are not? If possible, talk to a trusted grown up about them. I have attached the answers so you can be sure.
Now use these statements to make an online safety poster.
