Read for 20 minutes – talk to someone about your book if you can. If someone can ask you questions about your book, even better! Don’t forget you can read ‘First News’ too.
Choose a PE activity from the PE icon or tune in to ‘P.E. with Joe’!
Complete the SPAG sheet I have attached - it is not a test. We have covered all these things in class but I have also attached a ‘hints’ sheet if you are not sure. You can either print the sheet, or to save ink, just write the answers on a piece of paper.
To be able to translate shapes
Watch the video below:
I have attached a worksheet on translating shapes. The best way to do this is to print the sheet, or you can drag the shapes into their new position.
The second page of the worksheet is an extension – only do it if you want to.
This term, our topic is Rivers, Mountains and sustainability. Have a look at the 'Children's Work' section of the Year 5 website for Samuel’s excellent model of a river.
Please read the power point I have attached very carefully, then fill in the sheet ‘River Features’ and colour it too.
