Read for 20 minutes – talk to someone about your book if you can. If someone can ask you questions about your book, even better! Don’t forget you can read ‘First News’ too, or listen to some stories using these links:

It is that time of year again – the teachers are beginning to write your reports! Don’t worry, I’ll tell the truth!!!
We would like you to write a report about yourself, just as you usually do. Please could you write about your best achievements of Year 5, your successes and what you have enjoyed? It only needs to be one paragraph long - maybe between 8 and 10 sentences.

Topic
Look at the world map I have given you. I would like you create your own world map with the important rivers on it. I would like you to also add the names of the continents.
You can use the resources I have provided, or use an atlas if you have one or look online yourself.
Add the rivers and continents to the blank world map I have provided.
As a challenge, can you add some European rivers? e.g. The Thames or The Rhine or any others?
