Lesson 1 is for today.

If anybody would like to have a game of Times Tables Rock Stars, I propose that at 10:45am-11:15am and/or 2:15pm-2:45pm you log on and we can try and get some games going against each other. I have put two times in case there are some of you who can't get on at one of those times and we will play daily!

No one has been able to beat me yet! My personal best is 75. Bring it on!

For your English task, I have included a PowerPoint of a Mayan story below. I have not included all of the story as we will look at it in parts this week.

There are 8 slides on the PowerPoint to go through to get to know the beginning of the story and the character 'Pik'.

After reading the first 8 slides, I would like you to write a persuasive speech to the three new characters together or separately (your choice) as to why they are needed, why they should help and how their help is key to you (Pik). You will need to include very persuasive devices and fronted adverbials that outline their importance to you. Don't forget to include relative clauses, parentheses and a wide range of adventurous vocabulary to make this really stand out!

There is a spelling list below for you to practise and I would like you to select another 7 or 8 to practise. I would suggest that you try them and see which ones you know you need to work on!

Bonjour! For your French task, we are going to look at objects in our school. For this, I have included videos, a word search (you only have to do one of the three on the sheet!) and a crossword for you to solve. Watch the videos to practise the pronunciation of the words and phrases and make sure to practise them yourself, aloud.

I have added the other stuff from before for those of you who may wish to recap them.

Bonne Chance!
