For your maths task, https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/z6ynscw and complete the activities. There are also downloadable (or you could write out the questions) tasks at the bottom to complete. This is all based on multi-step addition and subtraction problems.
If anybody would like to have a game of Times Tables Rock Stars, I propose that at 10:45am-11:15am and/or 2:15pm-2:45pm you log on and we can try and get some games going against each other. I have put two times in case there are some of you who can't get on at one of those times and we will play daily!
No one has been able to beat me yet! My personal best is 79. Bring it on!
Yesterday, I set you the task of writing your comments for your reports and this is now your chance to edit and improve your work to send to me so I can add these to your reports (when I finish them!). Please send them to me ASAP (preferably by the end of the week) so I can add them in.
As a reminder:
There is a section for you to complete (that we would normally do in class!) about what you feel you have achieved/enjoyed this year, what you feel you could improve on and also what your aspirations are for next year, as you head off to your secondary school.
I would like you to write your comments, using the guidance below for some ideas. I am giving you two days to do this as I would like a lot of thought put into this, practised in a first draft and typed/written to be sent to me to add into your reports.
Achieved/enjoyed can include (and is not limited to):
the subjects taught, activities we have done, dressing up days, PGL, taking part in sporting activities, visits/visitors, etc... (I am sure that you have loads in mind!)
Areas to improve and aspirations for next year as you head off to secondary school should be carefully thought out and considered (maybe have a discussion with parents about this) and could maybe be linked to certain subjects or activities that we have done.
If this is written by hand, please send a picture of it to me so I can add the photo into your report. However, if this is typed, I can copy and paste it straight in.
Either way, please make sure that an adult does check it with you when editing, to make sure that it makes sense and your use of SPaG is correct.
There is a spelling list below for you to practise and I would like you to select another 7 or 8 to practise. I would suggest that you try them and see which ones you know you need to work on!
Bonjour! For your French task, we are going to recap the numbers up to 100 (from zero to cent), basic greetings and know our days, months and seasons. We are going to also add in words and phrases about the weather as you will probably want to practise some of the bits that were looked at last week and build on them.
I have included the videos from last week and some new ones below so that you can listen and learn. This should be practised aloud so that you can hear your own pronunciation of the words and phrases.
