Answers are available as 'days' under the answers link

Maths:

For your maths task, go to https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zrjx6v4 and complete the activities. There are videos and games to play.

If anybody would like to have a game of Times Tables Rock Stars, I propose that at 10:45am-11:15am and/or 2:15pm-2:45pm you log on and we can try and get some games going against each other. I have put two times in case there are some of you who can't get on at one of those times and we will play daily!

No one has been able to beat me yet! My personal best is 75. Bring it on!

English:

For your English task, there is a reading comprehension on the Mayan Creation Story below! There is a question sheet to go along with it and the answers so you can mark it yourself (or with an adult).

There is a spelling list below for you to practise. I do not expect you to practise all of the spellings on the list. I would select maybe 7 or 8 from each section to practise. I would suggest that you try them and see which ones you know you need to work on!

French:

Bonjour! For your French task, we are going to recap the numbers up to 100 (from zero to cent), basic greetings and know our days, months and seasons. We shall be moving on to more more complex French words and phrases but this should get you back in the French frame of mind!

I have included some videos below so that you can listen and learn. This should be practised aloud so that you can hear your own pronunciation of the words and phrases.

You could:

  • play a bingo game with any of these,
  • create your own word search or crossword with the French words as the answers,
  • create a mini French dictionary of words and phrases,
  • create a French/English pairs game.

Tres bon!
